NFCV celebrates official proclamation

Governor Jim Pillen issued a proclamation on April 7 recognizing May as See to Learn Month in Nebraska.  NFCV Program Director Dave McBride and NFCV Board President Will Ferguson, OD, attended the proclamation ceremony at the State Capitol. 

See to Learn, the public service program operated in Nebraska by NFCV, has provided free vision assessments for 3-year-olds in Nebraska for more than 25 years. For practices enrolled as See to Learn providers, this spring is an ideal time to reach out to local day care providers, early childhood programs, or public health centers with information about this program and why vision care for young children is important.
