Third Party Assistance

The NOA is your advocate with insurance carriers, Medicaid, and Medicare in regards to reimbursement issues.  The NOA provides extensive information and training for Doctors and Staff  on the topics of reimbursement rates and rules on proper coding.  Additionally, the NOA provides third party training videos, live seminars, and an interactive blog - where current issues are posted and discussed.

Third Party insurance assistance with free consultation and advice are available through NOA Third Party Consultants. 

Janet Fett, OD, provides ongoing updates and highlights on relevant Third Party reimbursement polices and practices and interfaces with a variety of insurance providers on behalf of NOA members. 

Chris Wolfe, OD, provides Third Party educational presentations to members, including classes for Doctors and Paras offered at the NOA Annual Fall Convention.  He serves as a resource for Doctors and Paras who have questions regarding coding, billing, or other third party issues.
