2022 NOA Leadership Institute visits the Capitol

The AOA and NOA advocate on behalf of the Optometric Profession, ensuring that Members are listened to and heeded in Washington D.C., the State Capitol, and in the Third Party Arena.

It's the support of our Members that make victories possible.  Member Doctors holding and maintaining a seat at the table when and where health care policy decisions are made. This includes achieving historic wins at the federal level like our Physician Status in Medicare, making comprehensive pediatric health and vision care a national priority, enacting a federal law to ban health plans from discriminating against the profession, and taking on Anti-Optometry groups set on regulating our practices and denying us full recognition and reimbursement.
