The Nebraska Optometric Association has completed a Memorandum of Understanding with Omaha based law firm Erickson Sederstrom.  This agreement includes a discounted rate on services for NOA members.

Expanded services will include access to a larger healthcare team of experts; providing education on legal topics; education for newly licensed optometrists on negotiating employment agreements; representing health care providers with regard to third party contracts; negotiating employment, contractor, leasing and other practice-related contracts; estate planning and asset protection; legal guidance for third party related issues; risk management for cyber and intellectual property issues; HIPAA compliance and helping optometrists with management service organizations.
