The Nebraska Optometric Association is about improving the quality, availability, and accessibility of eye and vision care in Nebraska. It is the only organization representing the interests of optometrists in Nebraska. The NOA's mission focuses on advocacy - to lawmakers, regulators, third party insurance payors, and consumers - enhancing the professional knowledge and skills of members and their staffs, and maximizing the business success of members' practices.
In affiliation with the American Optometric Association, the NOA has the ability to wield legislative and regulatory clout to protect and advance your practice, access timely information and resources to help your practice succeed, public relations and marketing support to increase awareness of the profession, top quality education opportunities at substantial discounts for you and your staff.

Any Paraoptometric who is employed by an member optometrist of the AOA/NOA shall be considered a member of the Para Section.

How To Enroll Staff as a Member in the AOA/NOA
- Go to www.aoa.org
- Under the “Optometrists” tab, click on My Profile and log in
- Click on “MyAOA”
- Click on the “Manage Staff” tab
- Enter information for each staff person (non-OD)
