The Antitrust Laws and Your Optometry Practice

In your own optometric practice, observe the foregoing rules that you will set your own prices and professional fees, and choose your own suppliers and sellers of goods and services, free of any improper, collusive discussions with, or other improper, collusive input from, your competitors. To do so is to place the welfare of your patients first. To fail to do so is to place you and your fellow optometrists at risk of economic ruin from antitrust charges, for which there is no more expensive litigation in the world, and none of it will be covered by your malpractice or general liability insurance.
